Technology gets a meaningful lift in the Comfortline. The cabin now includes a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, giving navigation, media, and vehicle settings a larger digital home. Step up to the Highline and that grows to a 15-inch infotainment display, which gives the front cabin a much more premium feel. The 2027 VW Atlas also adds wireless charging space for two phones in Comfortline, a simple detail that should prove useful when more than one person arrives with a low battery.
Heated and Ventilated Seats Go Beyond the Basics
Comfortline now includes heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, real wood décor, and 10-colour ambient lighting. Highline takes the atmosphere further with 30-colour ambient lighting, while also adding heated and ventilated outer second-row seats. Available second-row captain's chairs cost an additional $700 and give passengers easier separation and a more open feel between the seats.

Highline buyers also get a 14-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system. The trim also includes a panoramic sunroof, 20-inch Ottana machined alloy wheels, illuminated exterior details, and upgraded interior features that push the Volkswagen Atlas further into premium territory.
R-Line Comfort Gets Even More Personal
At the top of the lineup, Execline adds a more distinctive cabin with Nappa leather, patterned stitching, stainless steel pedals, and front-seat massage functionality. The outside receives R-Line-specific details, but the bigger story inside is how much more refined the seating experience becomes. For long Ontario drives, the massage function and richer seating materials help the 2027 Volkswagen Atlas feel less like a basic people mover and more like a serious road-trip SUV.
